Almost Done Sanding Steam Trunk

I'm almost done sanding. Just cleaning up the edges. I should have this part of the project completed sometime next week. I'll post some pictures soon.

  4. I would also love to hear what happened to the trunk. I'm going to replace my handles, lock and clasps, so if you have info on those things I'd love to hear them.

Hi, name is Jen, I have a trunk iv been trying to find something about it , was gonna c if u could help me know learn anything about it , it has a shipping sticker of pats baggage and a 5 digit phone number. A lock from conn. And a small diamond shape tag Henry Rochester and co. Est 1844. It's a large stand up , that needs restored. Than u for Ur time

  6. Hi Richey, I just stumbled on your blog here in Sept 2017. I want to thank you for sharing makeover of your steamer trunk it has been very well written with loads of info and supporting photos. I'm also a novice who is currently doing a make over. Although, mine is a wardrobe steamer trunk and like you I am also making a blog of its journey to share. I to, would like to see you back to let us all know where you are at with your trunk... I just hope all is ok with you.
